Default A real staff for Trappers.

This really isn't necessary for the game, but I would like to see a staff, with Wilderness Survival added to the game. I don't mind using other professions staves to go trapping with, but I was more thinking along the lines of just available as a green item or a collectors item.

That way, there won't be useless WS staffs dropping that nobody wants. If a green or collector WS staff were added into the game, any trapper could go get one, and have a nice staff that either has 10/10 or 20/20 recharge/casting.

Like I said, its not necessary, I don't feel it would significantly improve any gameplay or hurt any gameplay, but its just something nice that I feel should be added.

I wouldn't mind a staff for Beastmasters too...but thats a whole different post, which would start with making the Beast Mastery line better.

20/20 beastmaster and wilderness survival staves would significantly improve my gameplay. Lots of good builds are left gimped because they rely on these two attribute lines without relying on marksmanship. I use alot of builds that rely on ferocious strike to fuel nuking or shutdown, and it would be awesome to have a 20/20 staff that could improve ferocious.

Good spike trap trapper builds can't take oath shot, so it's pretty clear that a 20/20 would be goo for WS, but I think it'd be better if it were melee instead of a staff, a dagger kinda goes well with wilderness survival, and it'd help trappers close to melee range easier, and for two handed you could have a two handed melee staff/traveling stick sorta thing.

I'd say anything that spices up the weapons would be awesome. I don't mean the look of items either, I mean the function of them. Things like this get my vote.

Ive always wondered what a good alternate weapon would be for rangers. It seems staffs would be plenty "druidy". So, ...yeah, staffs for beastmastery and wilderness seems about right.
The staff mods may be a little unbalancing for rangers though.
And wands just dont look right.
A staff that is ranger specific in modifaction would be nice.

A druidic staff for a trapper seems odd... I was thinking more like sling - give it the same stats as a wand, but doing physical damage... then some sort of off-hand item to go with it.

But then, I think slings are really cool.

Not really, I can already use Morgriff's Staff to get the 10/10. I just want to be able to upgrade mine to have a +5 energy head, and actually do more dmg than 3.
